The Beer Garden

The Beer Garden

i encourage you all to join me for some casual drinking, social lubrication and light laughter right here in the beer garden.

Oh and before anyone gets up in arms about alcohol and its dangers the main beer on tap is VB or virtual beer

beer is the third most commonly consumed drink in the world behind water and tea

why not share the worlds joy with friends

Re: The Beer Garden

Yes I'm hearing what you say @Faith-and-Hope.
Its interesting the way issues come about, unfold themselves.
It's all good and we'll to stand up to him, like you said but enduring the wrath isn't the modality required for this situation. There's more going on.
Such a tightrope to cross, yet somehow you have all managed to find new ways of coping.
To anyone outside of this, really has no idea of the daily struggles.
So you get on with it!
The crazy regime becomes normalized so everyone else can function. Yep I get it.
We are all here to support you, it's too much to do completely alone.
Downloading the daily ridiculous would be well required, to bring light back into its challenge.
Big hugs ❤

Hi @Former-Member

Yes @Former-Member your post about diagnosis made a lot of sense to me. I believe there are a lot more spectrums and overlap in "symptoms". Sounds sensible even. Sorry for delay in reply.I didnt see it til now. I start my new zoo project in 2 days .. still feeling very low ... but hoping that will kick me into gear.

Cheers

Hello @Apple blossom..just reading your play fighting post, I sometimes get involved in wrestling ..much on the sometimes, but I talk silly & act characters..it seems to get a rise out of my son's too.
Boys need all that stuff. I'm glad we have a trampoline also!! 😂

Re: The Beer Garden

Hi @Faith-and-Hope

I took a look at Spanakopita - pics and recipe and no calorie count - but boy - a serve of that twice a day every day 😝

I stomach finds that revolting - but he must like it - I am glad I don't have someone bringing that home for me to eat - spinach has to be in small fresh leaves in my salad - I grow it myself - in a pastry - not - that is too much

So I am starting to get your circus - and the dishes - oh my word - what a chore

Thinking about your with the healthy cooked lunches and the extra laundry too - how do you do this?

Let's pray it works out today - I don't know what has happened recently - just making it through my day

Re: The Beer Garden

Hi just another stop in. Trying to motivate myself to take the dog for a walk. It's a nice day here yay. Feeling ya @TAB.

@Decadian I'm with ya on the MASH junkie train. Think I could recite them all nearly word for word. I hope you pick up a bit soon.

@Former-Member. I wouldn't have survived with out our trampoline basketball rind and cricket gear. It kept my kids going through childhood. Wrestling on trampoline was an all time fave of theirs. My older three were all a similar size and fourth is made of rubber so the injury count was actually pretty low😂 I hope your doing ok

@Former-Member I'm sorry it's taken a while to get back. To iPad or not. I love mine more than my laptop but for uni I think a laptop would be better. I do all my emails and small assignments on my iPad. I cant touch type and I think I'm quicker on my iPad because of predictive text but I type pretty much using one finger. If I could touch type it would be heaps better using my laptop. I mostly had my laptop for Adobe programs like photoshop, indesign, dreamweaver etc. I hope you've had a nice day today. I'm doing ok again, feeling tired but ok.

@Faith-and-Hope Glad you've seen some dolphins recently again. I think that would encourage me to walk. I've been thinking about you and your family and WH today. I thought back to my situation and I think my ex behaved similarly to WH with controlling kids a lot too. I was also thinking how much he moved the goal posts slowly over time as well. It was a post I read from @Former-Member I read on a different discussion that made me think about it.

@Former-Member

Yeah .... there's been a lot of smoke and mirrors .... can totally see how it got in under the radar .... and it looked like I was the problem when I was trying to find intervention ....

Really sneaky, some of these issues ....

Tip - set yourself 3 things to find on your walk .... ie leaf coloured not-green, a feather, a dandelion bal .... see how you go with that ....
