My fitness journey

My fitness journey

The journey has begun. Today I joined a gym and bought some clothes to train in. I want to slim down and prevent the risk of type 2 diabetes. I thought I’d start a thread for my journey and start posting about the journey. Hopefully it will see an improvement in my mental health too due to all those feel good chemicals.

So, this is Day 1... I’m nervous but excited at the same time.

Re: Re@: My f@itness journey

lol sorry @TAB didn't want you to start craving things

we have been told to stay indoors if can. we have bad smoke haze from victorian and local fires. could smell it when i got up. went outside just after that to take clothes off line and wow my throat knew about it for the next hour or so. nasty.

can't imagine what it must be like for the people in the middle of these fires compared to us.

Re: My f@itness journey

Yeah so much bush here in Tassie we are not immune either @TAB A country town called Fingal has fires at the north and south of the town. Not good. And that is not too far from here.

well it does not hurt to be organised just in case. Two winters ago I had to evacuate in case of floods but nothing happened.

Re: My f@itness journey

I really don't blame you for being concerned @TAB

Mother Nature can be very unpredictable. And with what we have seen over the past few weeks, it really gets you thinking and worried.
