My fitness journey

My fitness journey

The journey has begun. Today I joined a gym and bought some clothes to train in. I want to slim down and prevent the risk of type 2 diabetes. I thought I’d start a thread for my journey and start posting about the journey. Hopefully it will see an improvement in my mental health too due to all those feel good chemicals.

So, this is Day 1... I’m nervous but excited at the same time.

@Scarecrowe lolz I know what you mean re stomach. I keep tryin to suck it in but to no avail. I noticed my fat was turning jiggly. I read some where that that happens before the fat cells go 'woosh' and there is weightloss :D:D.

Re: Re@: My f@itness journey

Well @Bunniekins tea will be a bit later than normal as I will be out from 4 - 7.30ish. So won't start cooking until then, but I am having chicken wings marinated in herbs and garlic.

Not as healthy as it could be.

What about your tea @Bunniekins

Re: Re@: My f@itness journey

@Scarecrowe chicken wings marinated in garlic sounds delicious :). I am having thai as a treat with the kids for nye :D:D . I will be careful though and only eat a curry and leave the spring rolls etc. I have been munching on carrots all afternoon to stop me from eating something I will regret later.

Re: Re@: My f@itness journey

They are delicious @Bunniekins and I cook them on the smokeless grill so they come up a treat. I do like nibbling on chicken wings lol.

I LOVE Thai food. In 1995 I had my first experience of Thai food in a Thai restaurant in San Francisco with my best mate and a lovely couple from Sydney who talked us into trying it and my friend and me have been hooked ever since.

I am planning on having Thai for my birthday with friends in March. We all love it and we have a lovely restaurant here.

Yes keep away from the spring rolls etc, but majority of Thai food is pretty healthy.

I love munching on raw baby carrots too.....really don't like cooked carrots though. But I do love munching on raw butter beans.........................odd I know.
