My fitness journey

My fitness journey

The journey has begun. Today I joined a gym and bought some clothes to train in. I want to slim down and prevent the risk of type 2 diabetes. I thought I’d start a thread for my journey and start posting about the journey. Hopefully it will see an improvement in my mental health too due to all those feel good chemicals.

So, this is Day 1... I’m nervous but excited at the same time.

Re: My f@itness journey

@Meowmy but the meals are so worth it when they taste so good and are so nutritious :). I have been meaning to ask do you knit or sew?

@Queenie @Meowmy @Gazza75 @Ant7 @BryanaCamp @Shaz51 well fellow fitness journey formites drastic measures are need here by the pea so I am back on the shakes :o. Not the ones that made my hair fall out but the other one which is not as filling (cant win it seems) will be having them twice a day with one veggies and tofu meal on the remaining meal (probably dinner). So boring I could scream

Re: My f@itness journey

@Gazza75 That actually sounds really yummy :). Thanks for sharing. I might try some of that particularly the nuts and rice:p

I had blood test results and my iron count is really low have to take some iron tablets and see what happens.

Re: My f@itness journey

@Bunniekins, I had trouble with my iron levels a while back as well. I was okay with my last blood test. Not sure if you have an Aldi near you, they have some good value mixed nuts.

Re: My f@itness journey

@Gazza75 Cheers thanks for the heads up on nuts at Aldi. I do have one about 15 mins drive from here so is quite close. 🙂 ps: Aldi is a great shop isnt it.

Re: My f@itness journey

@Bunniekins, yes I really like Aldi. Thats where I get my salmon. They also have the wild rice which is very nice as well, takes a bit longer to cook than the white stuffs. Worth it though. Have a god arvo GP, I have to boot scoot in a few mins. Take care.
