Partners who chose to stay for the long haul

Partners who chose to stay for the long haul

Living and loving someone with MI presents relationship challenges and often others cannot see why we chose to stay with our partners.

Being mindful of not intruding on others stories I thought having a thread where we can share tips and encourage one another would be of value.

Come and say hello to other carers doing it tough with difficult partner situations. I guess most of not all of us have sized up to the decision about whether to go or stay.

@starflame

A few of us "long haulers" have loved ones with bipolar, some of us are "oldies" on the forum. Please don't be shy, we are all here to help and support one another 😊.

Hi @Epona this tread is for those of us who have chosen to stay for the long haul with our partners. Please feel free to join in and ask any questions. @Former-Member supports her husband with PTSD, but a lot of our loved ones have had trauma along the way ☹.
