Hi Everyone , am quitting smoking after doing it for 16 years the last time. A good day was a packet, a bad day on the drink, well double that. I have some old patches and lozenges. What could go wrong? ok to my advantage Im off work so can hide myself away physically to get thru first bit.

cool @StuF its really 19 for me cos smoked 11 years, gave up 13, then did it worse than ever for 20, now stopped 6 years .joys of being old .. lol

I am not sure if vaping is allowed? (It is nicotine addiction) It must be around 8+ years since I was smoking ciggies.
I feel like it definitely counts, because I can't even bare to think the damage to my body has I still been using cigs for those years.
Vaping upsets my asthma a bit - but I definitely don't feel the heaviness of destruction that smoking caused me.
It is timing.

Good on you @TAB . I have tremendous admiration for you being able to do that. I’m badly addicted will be really hard for me. Can’t try while I’ve got some in the house. Going to have lunch a bit later today as had breakfast a bit later today. Have you got a fire going? Any activities planned for today?

I was smoking around 40 /day towards the end @GezzaP think way more some days when drinking. I had experience with patches working in gas plant at karratha.
still the same,just start with w stronger patches, can find out what strenght to take think had gum and lollythings not sure if could find spray.i was serious lol
