Christmas Loungeroom

For all those who are both celebrating and avoiding Christmas this year the Chistmas Loungeroom is a place for us all to hang out. It is especially for those who will be alone throughout this Christmas period and as a place to come together and enjoy the company of others in what can be a difficult time for many.

Feel free to post your stories, images, grievances, etc. of this period and to leave messages for other members to help each other get through this time of year.

Christmas day can be extra hard for some so this is a place for us all to get together on the day and share it with other members.

Oh dear @TAB, you got it bad, the brain in overdrive after a bad day 😞 Do you have a hobby? I reckon you should go buy a model sailing ship to build over Chrissy, or something else, I find finished project most rewarding.

Hiya Mr. Tabby Cat me old mate - saw you had a tough day at work yesterday and are not feeling very christmassy - that sucks @TAB but I get it - it is not the best time of year for everyone and a good time to think of those that do not have anywhere to go this christmas.

You are allowed to have a moan @TAB - especilly at this time of year and on this thread - think there would be many more only too happy to join you in that. It is a tough time of year and although it is what it is you still feel that sense of loneliness when others are talking about their families and getting together. I will be checking in here on you on Christmas day thiugh Mr. Tabby Cat - won't leave my puddy tat buddy hanging out all on his own on Christmas

Things are okay my end @TAB Last official day at work at that school tomorrow and I expect it will be a little sad but I am also glad to be out of there too - so very mixed feelings. No word yet on next year - spoke to the HR person today and she said it will be mid January at the earliest ...so the waiting continues but as you have already said tonight - it is what it is and I can't do anything about it.
