Christmas Loungeroom

For all those who are both celebrating and avoiding Christmas this year the Chistmas Loungeroom is a place for us all to hang out. It is especially for those who will be alone throughout this Christmas period and as a place to come together and enjoy the company of others in what can be a difficult time for many.

Feel free to post your stories, images, grievances, etc. of this period and to leave messages for other members to help each other get through this time of year.

Christmas day can be extra hard for some so this is a place for us all to get together on the day and share it with other members.

@ta@ish @TAB I wish the restrictions were nation wide, (only lock down some suburbs short term. WA seems a bit backward with all this. Maybe you can visit your dad for a Chrissy in July ✨🎄

I just saw my GP and he made me promise to him that I will have a good day despite my mum being a real cow atm. @cloudcore

all that matters to me now is that i have my 3 amazing adults kids with me, my beautiful 4 yr old granddaughter and my daughter's partner. that's all that matters now. I will think of my dad, not my mum, actually part of me feels sorry for her.

@Blluebay- feel for you. Christmas tends to bring it all to the foreground. Challenge our levels of tolerance. We don't need toxic people in our life, secretly plugging holes in our lifeboat. You have a wonderful family of your own. You've done well ❣️

@TAB Sorry you haven't got confirmation about a border pass to see your dad. Really tough, I hope it comes through. Being in the wheelchair having seizures I can't cook Christmas lunch. Food is so complicated in our house with some vegans and some meat eaters and I'm in the middle...... So...... Broke as I am I gave myself a break and ordered caterers......
