I just need to share this: for the first time in so very long, today I actually feel happy. Nothing particularly exciting happened - in fact something unpleasant occurred. It hasn't taken my pleasure away. I had a picnic lunch with another mother and our children. We sat in the sun, on some grass near a playground. We initially sat somewhere else, and were moved on for being inadvertently on "private" land, but it didn't upset me. It was a simple, enjoyable time. And I feel happy. I think I'd forgotten how that feels. I feel light. This is wonderful. Wow!

aww @Former-Member now your the one making me teary. this world is a dreadful place. the forums are really family for me too. the people here keep my heart gentle and soft for without it i wouldnt have a heart at all

Tempted to make some hot chips, put salt and vinegar on them and watch some cricket.

Yea sure @Former-Member hot chips, and a couple dim sims with salt and vinegar with a glass of lemonade... Food is a source of happiness and comfort for me. And it sounds like it is for you also? ☺ (Not in a bad way...)
