Well, it's Monday again...

Well, it's Monday again...

Hello @Former-Member, @PeppiPatty, @BlueBay, @Strugglingmum, @CherryBomb, @Shaz51, @Appleblossom, @Angels333, @NikNik and anyone else I missed.

Well, Monday is here again & the beautiful weather continues around me. I hope everyone had a good weekend without too many up & downs. I know a few of you have a lot of things coming up over the next few days & hope it all goes well.

So how is everyone going today?

For me, I don't know really. Since yesterday I feel myself slipping down a little. The energy & motivations I've been experiencing over the last few weeks seem to be ebbing. I've got a few things I have to do over the next few days and I really don't feel up to facing them. I find I'm even putting simple things off over the last few days, and getting frustrated easily. Hopefully this is only a short term thing and will pass.

I always fear slipping into one of my depressive episodes. They seem to last so long & be so hard to get on top of. I just disconnect from the world. And once I do re-connect I just never know how to approach people, both in real life & online, that I had been in contact with. Last time it happened I disappeared from social media, forums & other online activities for more than 12 months. I only got back on Facebook at the end of January and only re-activated my Twitter today!

I've been in contact with more family & friends online in the last month than I have ever been. Even when I used to be online before I would hide my presence, not letting most people know I was there. This time I haven't held back at all and I really don't want to lose that again. Am I worrying needlessly? Is it just a 'normal' down time? I have no idea.

Sorry all, this post is beginning to look like me just getting my thoughts out there.

But I am really interested to know how everyone is going today. Hopefully there will be a few good news stories around to help lift my mood.

As always, take care, stay safe.

Body tires is good @Shaz51, far better then being emotionally worn out!

Sun? Seen nothing but sun for 2 weeks here. A little rain would be nice. Supposed to be possible showers over the next few days but I won't hold my breath.

Take care, both of you!

Hi @Shaz51

Today has been a bit of a lazy day. I cleaned the kitchen doors as they were dirty and were annoying me. I am now preparing dinner. We are having our Easter dinner with our children tonight as it is the first time for a while that all children are home together. My son's girlfriend is also coming for dinner. I look forward to our dinners together as its not very often we get together and I still want to keep the family together.

What are you up to?

That is lovely @BlueBay, have a great night tonight

We had all my hubby`s 4 children all together here with their partners for 3 lovely days , I love having them around , they have all gone back to their homes now , doing lots of washing

so I put some fish out for dinner for us 2 tonight

Re: Well, it's Monday again...

It must be nice @Shaz51 to have your husband's children and their partners over but I bet it gets tiring too!! It is nice to have family over and spending time with them especially if there is little kids too.

Our dinner was nice, just watching a bit of tv now and I think an early night for me. I always enjoy when all our kids are home together. And as usual I cooked too much food!!!

Re: Well, it's Monday again...

Hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend. Sounds like you guys had some quality time with family.

Very quiet time for me, spent the whole weekend in, alone , not doing much at all. Mainly just reading, listening to music or laying in bed. Not much energy or motivation to do anything. Real exciting life I lead. Only time I went out was yesterday because I needed milk & bread.

Hope the week ahead is good to everyone.

Take care all.

Re: Well, it's Monday again...

This thread reminded me of the old Boomtown Rats song. "I Dont LIke Mondays" at that time I was definitely a worker but never been a 9-5er.

I was invited to an Irish Rebel song afternoon ... 100 year anniversary of the Easter Rising. So I had a good Monday too, but quiet can be good ... very quiet today and for a while to recover from going all out for Easter. I have been saying to my son that I dont feel like going out even for milk and bread ... and he is getting it ... which is lovely ... not all girls lerve shopping.
