Walking group
I was talking with @Zoe7@Shaz51@Faith-and-Hope last night about walking. So we decided to set a mini goal and start walk.
Who would like to join us? 😊

Ah geez .. left it too late for mail @Zoe7 but yeah why shouldn’t be the bigger person?.. um maybe an e-card of some description, remember sending them to her probably/others late 90s on 33.6k modem etc not much quicker now, as system just overloaded lol yeah am old re letters. Got a couple six years ago. Re personal handwritten ones ok with stamp on although do remember being hauled into post office forever ago to top up postage to get delivery on something Ok they were from women. Actually more women than I thought. One of them was my mum. Someone else thought I was running so made big effort to keep hooks in, sent me a beautiful card, chocolates and .. watch .. ffs ok I’d gone interstate on recommendation/referrnce from mate. I got parcel and read Lady Chatterlys Lover over phone to her most nights and left job a week later went back to her. Mate stayed 12mths and bought a house. Hmm ..

Must have been a good job if your mate had been paid enough to buy a house - do you imagine where you would be now if things had worked out differently for you @TAB?

Well it was ABN so had to pay own tax plus huge deductions over PAYE ok meant a deposit. But its long paid off re him he can network, do strategic courses re training he’s moved into another sphere basically. Through hard work and by being guy people want to be with ok plus by taking risks well, at the time, think he’s set now. Well after sorting tax debts , maintenance payments etc. Ok this is going where I don’t like to. Ie Reality. I wasted money, opportunities, did not much to try and advance self for years except chop and change jobs/employers all the while telling self I wanted to do something else @Zoe7

Sad maybe thing is I can’t imagine another Life @Zoe7 I did lots different things. Trade is longest lasting and most consistent or was that persistent Ok I’m sounding like life is work now

It is never good when yiu aren't happy in your job though @TAB - and it seems like that has been the case for you. Sometimes we don't look into the future and save for what may happen but more live in the moment and waste what we have. I have always been pretty good at saving but that may be because I know what it is like to live from pay to pay and struggle to pay the bills.

Well more boom and bust re me @Zoe7 job has good moments and notso good ok most good moments a long time ago. I support myself. Am learning to live like I’m broke even if not. Anyway. Sure if I get into right mindset I can do something way away from what I have been doing. Anyhoo

Hm reminds me of counseling 20yrs ago when I said I could do anything and was shut down @Zoe7 but sure I could do something else ok was on AD’s at time and had someone feeding my ego re counsellor but there are limits apparently. Not that have tested them well re big work changeable ok nite. Yes talk tomorrow
