@NikNik @Former-Member @Former-Member not all posts are being received as emails - some where I am tagged and some not specifically tagged but threads I subscribe to - I have noticed this more over the last few days. They are still coming through as notifications though.

Further to @Zoe7's post, and what I've mentioned before, email notifications seem to be getting worse. I am now very regularly receiving emails up to 17 hours late! It's been like this for a long time for me now, even before the site change. I received an email from SANE saying I should be contacted by the tech support organisation about this, but haven't heard anything further. Just mentioning it again because numerous people on the site are complaining about it in other threads too. @Former-Member @Former-Member

That would have felt so frustrating. Our system is generally pretty good at filtering Spam but sometimes it doesn't get it quite right! We've unmarked your previous post as Spam. Hope that resolves the issue for you 🌈

As I emailed you, the tech team are investigating this but it is not an easy fix situation unfortunately and will take some time to find out what is happening. I really appreciate your patience and understanding on this and us (the SANE forums team) will get in touch when we know more!

@Zoe7 are you able to try to clear your cache/cookies? Could help your particular query. Based on the browser you use, type it in googe plus how to clear cache and it will give you step by step guides.

hello technology team...

I have just finished editing a response that I started about 2-3 hours ago...

I posted the edited response...received "authentication failed"

went back to my profile to see if saved as a draft...had saved original..unedited response...

I have lost several responses since the new system...believing it to be my own lack of tech savvy....

I am now beginning to realise that there is an issue...

It would have felt quite frustrting to spend all that time editing what you'd written only to lose it when you tried to post! That's a relatively common experience (pre and post our new system) and tends to occur when we spend a longer time writing or editing a post. While the system does 'autosave' what we input into the text box, it can time out from time to time leading us to the 'authentication failed' page. Something you can try if you are taken to the "authentication failed" page is to press the 'back' button on your browser. When we've tested this on our end we often find that everything we had written is still there. Let us know how you go 🐰

Hi @Former-Member, taking your advice and posting more about this long standing problem.

Ongoing trouble here with receiving email notifications very long after they were posted (up to 17 hours late).

Wondering if there is anyone else aside from me and @eth experiencing this. We are both on gmail and are having the identical problem.

Any other members reading who are on gmail and/or having this problem?

Just to clarify @eth - your notification delays come and go and are intermittent is that correct? Sometimes they work fine and sometimes there can be delays?

Just trying to clarify as it seems @Mazarita's current issue is slightly different as it is a consitent ongoing delay of a certain amount of time, as I understand.

@Former-Member Notification times seem to be random sometimes I get them out of order e.g. 5 hrs ago then 10 hrs ago then 2 hrs ago then 15hrs ago, sometimes I don't get them until a subsequent post is made by the same person. Sometimes I get them in a timely way --- really varies a lot at the moment. My gmail is working perfectly well for everything else.
