Something’s not right

I just can't.

I just can't.

I don't see the point in living anymore. I can't.
I've called helplines but tonight it's just not helped.
I've spent way too much time in hospital over the years and nothings ever helped.

I just can't anymore

Re: I just can't.

@Faith-and-Hope I've talked to the staff about how I'm scared of him, I don't feel comfortable telling them why though.

Re: I just can't.

@Appleblossomi felt like I couldn't express myself though, I was just starting to when they ended it.

I understand lifeline is short but they didn't listen to why I was distressed

Re: I just can't.

That is fair enough @The-red-centaur.

Do you think it might help to write it down ?

Sometimes the process of translating thoughts and feelings into words helps us to feel more of a sense of control over them.

Can you rationalise that you are safe where you are at the moment ?

You have staff around. Do they check on you during the night ?

Re: I just can't.

@Faith-and-Hope staff don't check on us. But my door is locked so he won't be able to hurt me. Just the fact he's here and I have to interact with him tomorrow scares me.

Re: I just can't.

Maybe distract yourself with more YouTube videos for now @The-red-centaur, try to take your mind off it.

Re: I just can't.

@Faith-and-Hope yeah. I might log off for the night and try to sleep or YouTube if that doesn't work.
Good night thanks for helping today

Re: I just can't.

@The-red-centaur Sorry I dropped out last night. I hope you managed to settle yourself a bit. You must have a million things going on for you being in hospital.

The presence of that person is an extra trigger. Can you manage it so that you avoid interacting with him? Is it possible to be transferred to another unit.

Give yourself credit for dealing with an extra stressor.

Writing is good....for now or for later... the value of clarity is always helpful even if we dont know quite what to do with it yet.

Take care today, while your feelings are on alert.

Re: I just can't.

@Appleblossom I've been discharged from hospital to a recovery program. It's really small with only 5 beds. I can't really avoid him.
This morning interactions with him were triggering I don't know what to do.

Re: I just can't.

Can you contact the doctor who sent you to r covert @The-red-centaur and explain the problem, letting him know that it is immobilising you with fear so you will be unable to recover like this, and ask of there somewhere else you can be placed while he is there ?

Re: I just can't.

@Faith-and-Hope there's no where else and I can't contact my Dr til Monday and I'm going home Monday.
