i’m struggling. i’m trying to cope, but it’s so hard and every little step costs so much energy and then i get exhausted and don’t know how to go on. so tired.
Hi @Snowie routine is really good, I don’t have much routine apart from cooking dinner. I sometimes accept if I have bad days and sometimes I just beat myself up about it. Try to sometimes go out with friends, just one person and perhaps a short coffee catch up. I’ve let too many people go over the years, or rather willfully excluded them, and it does get lonely. I have only recently learnt, that I don’t have to tell my story, it’s nobody’s business what I do with my day or how I feel, if I don’t want to share. I sometimes go for coffee and just listen. Many people love to talk and don’t even notice, if I don’t share or when I get ask something, I just give a brief reply and change the subject.
Hi @Former-Member my day today is a little better than yesterday, I’m colouring in which i haven’t done for a while. I like pretty colours. How are you?

Re: how long can i hold on?
Thanks @Former-Member
Sometimes it is so much easier to push people away than let them in. Maybe one day....
I am glad today is a better day for you

Re: how long can i hold on?
@Former-Member. Sorry only just read back on your posts. I'm glad others were here to help you. I'm having a bad night. Just realized I've missed taking my meds for 2 days. No wonder I'm flatlining. But after tomorrow's meds, I should be feeling better. Coffee with a friend sounds good.

Good morning @utopia I hope you got some sleep and things will settle with your meds. I had some really dark days but hoping for a clearer day today.

Re: how long can i hold on?
Thanks @Former-Member - I had a good deep sleep last night - once I finally fell asleep. Am feeling better this morning. Load of washing on and have done some grocery shopping. I might sit in a sunny spot and read my book. What are your plans today?

Re: how long can i hold on?
Hi @Former-Member. It's nice to 'see' you again. Not sure if numb is a feeling that is OK or not for you? Sometimes numb can feel a bit like relief from the intensity of other feelings for me. Sometimes it's not nice too though.
Have you got any plans for today?

Re: how long can i hold on?
Hi @CheerBear I’m going out for the day, I don’t want to, but I shouldn’t be home. How about you? Numb is not good, good in a way that I don’t feel things, but I struggle to cope and don’t know what I’m coping with. And I know a big emotion will come after, normally anger. So I don’t know how I feel about numb.

Re: how long can i hold on?
It's great that you're going out if you know it's better to be out than at home @Former-Member. It's hard to do that sometimes. Is anywhere interesting/calm/fun/pleasant?
Numb definitely makes it hard to identify what it is you're dealing with. It's foggy, like that frosted glass maybe. I have big anger waves too. I feel explosive sometimes :S
