Loneliness

Loneliness

Lately I've been feeling incredibly lonely and it feels like there's nothing I can do about it. I have no friends outside of the people I know online. I can't hang out with anyone. I never leave the house because I'm afraid I'll have a panic attack.

I've also become addicted to something (not drugs, but something embarrassing that I don't want to mention publicly) to replace the feeling that I would normally get if I were socialising often.

Re: Loneliness

I have said a prayer for you. Stay connected. There are lots of online crisis counselling services if you can't get hold of a phone straight away. Stay connected for as long as you need to.

I HAVE to go out for about 50 minutes. STAY CONNECTED. The moderators at this site will try to help you, i'm sure, and there are lots of online counselling services. You CAN get through this. I will be back as quickly as I can. Take heart and courage. You CAN get through this. I'll be back as soon as I can.

Hi @misstiramisu

Sorry things are feeling so awful for you, please try and remember that these really horrible feelings do pass. I was there only weeks ago and its hard to believe that i was feeling like that now... even though i have a lot of the same issues going on right now.

Even if you dont have access to a phone you can still contact life line for their chat I think, or have a look at their site. If you don't have a phone can you get your self to a friends house or if you feel like you are in immediate danger, to a hospital ER.

I really believe that it is worth holding on, there are better times and feelings coming, just need to hold on until then.

Re: Loneliness

She needs to stay connected to other people at the moment. We can help her. She can contact a local church maybe online too. We can help her here today, somehow, probably in a number of ways, if we keep trying. I have said a prayer too. She CAN get through it. Staying connected is important at the moment. We're here for you misstirimasu x

Re: Loneliness

Here you go, a new post so you don't get upset over something like masturbation. 🙂 Also, I don't know where you got the idea of me having a partner from. I'm single. I live at home with my parents.

Re: Loneliness

OK, young lady, it's good to hear that you are more or less ok! We don't need to know ALL your problems here - you can sort some of them out with your doctor, psychologist and God! Living with your parents (probably a downer 😞 ), no partner (probably an 'upper' 🙂 ), few friends (but you have a few! that's good, and PRAY for more, and keep working on making more friends). DON'T forget Lifeline (13 11 14) - they are good as 'temporary friends' (and, VERY importantly, not only will they listen, but they will help you problem-solve and they will give you self-nurturing techniques). If I can be of any more assistance, please feel free to ask. cheers, best wishes and god bless.

misstiramisu , Hi, and a big hug for joining the best sight in town. I have just returned to the land of the living

after four or five months of isolation. Your situation is ery difficult but start, as the saying goes, "one step at a time." poke your head outside, if it works ok take your body out as well. Stay out as long as you can the retreat. That will be the first step on the path to recoery. There is no rule for getting better. Stick with it.one day the clouds will lift and will be bathed is sunshine,.

@Terry I think that if a contributor wishes to vent their spleen in this forum let them. You mentioning of God inplies that everyone believes in your god. We all beliee in something , not necessarily your god or any other god. that is their private domain. the person need help, backing and encouragement without rules, except for the forum rules.

May your god be with you and heal you.

The looped one.
