Yes I can hear how your mother is focusing her attention on 3 things. Shopping lists. Biscuits. Going home. She seems that once focused on one of these, she's not able to focus on anything else. What has her doctor / psych said to you? When will they be finished with their assessment?
Understandable that you are so worried. She sounds good one day and very angry the next. And she's been in hospital first r a long time. And your normal routine is so disrupted during her hospital stays.
Good that you can debrief with the social worker tomorrow. Hopefully she can help put things in place to make it easier on you.
All good here. Exhausted. Sleeping a lot. But still good.
With your running around everywhere, it is so much easier to grab some takeaway than haveto go hhome and cook a meal. Be gentle on yourself. We are allowed these splurges. Eventually we will be back on track and eating more vegetables. Lol.
I hope you get a restful sleep tonight.
I'm off to watch some mind numbing tv before I go to sleep.

hey @utopia and @outlander
sorry been quiet of late. how are you both? haven't had a chance to logon - between my mum and best friend havent had much down time! lol
i saw mum yesterday - bought her goodies for her and she was very happy. ive decided "if you cant beat 'em, join 'em!" ... i got her what she wanted, and it makes her happy. i think now that she has what she wanted, she probably wont ask for more stuff as she has ample now lol ...the reason i just went with it is cause i couldnt bare the though of something happenning to her and she was upset with me. there is no way i could deal with that.
i saw her today. she was a bit quiet and tired but ok.
so apart from mum and my best friend, i havent done anything else really .... such an exciting life i lead atm lol!
will catch up on both of your threads now xxx

I think you are leading an exhausting life at the moment @Bella1978. I don't know how you do it.
Good to hear that mum is okay, even if a bit tired. Are her meds the same? Have they finished the Assessment?
I'm exhausted and sore today. I did the 5km ParkRun this morning at 8am. I know!!!!! So early. I walked the whole course. After the half way mark, my face was red, my body aching, my feet - oh ouch. And I was on the verge of tears. I couldn't get my negative self talk to stop. On and on it went. You won't finish the 5 kms. You can't make it. When you get to the 4km mark you can just go to your car and go home. Oh I wanted to cry. So emotional. But when I reached the part where all the runners and fast walkers were celebrating at the finish line, and I had 1 km left to go, I almost did pull out. But one of the volunteers stationed at that point said to me, 1km to go. You can do this. So I continued. Ithink the last km was when I stopped feeling like I wanted to cry.
I did the 5kms in 1 hour and 31 seconds. My psychologist tole me i'd do it in 1 hour. I told him know. Itwill be 1 and a half hours at least. So of course he is right. Oh, he's always right. Gets annoying after a while. But I should be used to it. Oh, putting my feet on the ground now - agony. lol.
All the way through the walk i'm telling myself i'm not doing this again. But we will see how I feel next week.
So that's all i've done. My mum took my son to soccer. His dad and wife and little brother showed up at half time and saw him play soccer. Now he's at their house in Melbourne for the night.
My niece and her partner have come up to town to Visit. They are staying with mum. I haven't seen them. Besides being exhausted. I'm still emotional about trying to accept that this is my life now and I'll always have MI.
So It's a quiet night at my house tonight.
