For a while I have tried to find a thread I had started when I joined the forum that could be a "home" thread for me.
Being busy about the forum has been a coping style, where I can acknowledge all my different life experiences that had been silenced. Possibly do some good and prevent things from getting worse. Like the little boy with the finger in the dyke.

I am an ex court editor who is leaving a digital trace if there are any unforeseen major issues.
We have had another episode, but we are still persevering ... son was not sectioned.... business as usual.,,, we have no choice... it is most important NOT to pretend that there is more help out there, than there actually is. I am pretty diligent in research...
My eyes and wits are addled from the new intensity of new police lights swirling.... hmmmm.... great tek guys... please rejig the crisis protocols
I wont be able to log in for a while due to the Schizophrenia Awareness Day show.... and family gathering.... wish me luck.
I am experiencing dull persistent chest pain... probably due to recent stress which has been massive.... but I also need to state ... for the record... that I prbably got pericarditis from the Covid vaccines.
I have had so much loss... without... basic condolences or cards or support... it is nuts....

Yes the tagging issue has been a worry.
I hope you've had the chest pain/pericarditis checked out. My BP has been extreme and I've procrastinated re symptoms but we do owe it to ourselves to seek advice... bearding the dragon.
Do take care of yourself... music, garden, felines, humour... hoping you're as pain free as you can manage... absolutely you're remembered. I've recently seen clips on summoning the appropriate Mesopotamian deities... I don't have beer on hand for a libation but whatever works.

The show went well and was sold out and a great boon for reducing stigma and discrimination in mental health. My bit was described as philosophical, serious and hope filled. I made a few jokes about footie, the Truth, the newspaper and sounding like a growling grass frog. I played Beethoven in a trio, Van Eyck on recorder. I mucked up my Mozart as I was playing off ar the end of my vignette. I was mortified. Said Sorry mate, but it didnt distrract too much from the message. In the end I laughed with the producer, saying it was probaby more important that I made a joke about footie in the arts centre than got my Mozart purrfect.
My family gathering was amazing. I am very proud of the young people. They all have their strengths and challenges.
My niece talked with me heaps and slept in my bed. It was important for them all.
The forum no longer shows who is online. I am not sure it is an improvement, but.... acceptance is sometimes needed.
