@Faith-and-Hope I love seeing you when you pop in whenever you possibly can. I know you have family and arts commitments. Sorry to hear about your health challenges. They seem to accumulate with time, but knowing you will try and find the wisest path through it all. The support button often plays up these days, so tagging may be the only way to communicate. Gently Bently.

My deepest thanks to you all for your kind thoughts and support. I am a little short of words at the moment. There has been significant challenges and moments of joy.
3 male cousins are getting together for a music festival tomorrow and one is staying with us at the moment. Given the tragic family history, it is important and good that they are rallying and find ways to connect and grow their own sense of community. Young men actually do have it hard these days.
Grateful.

Tears for those in suffering
Have a peach ...
@AuntGlow I just pray and pray that there are some humans out there that see and bring out the good in my son, and have some respect for the struggles he has faced and give him courage. Yesterday, we said goodbye in person to a committed diligent experienced good older male therapist who is retiring. He will be a loss to my son, but we dont begrudge his retirement. He has earned it.
We also found out that a "service" is being unhelpful and making things worse. It is one committed to the biochemical model and power over client rather than therapeutic outcomes. It has been a betrayal, as my son had several times been positive and hopeful, so I am blindsided, and have too much on at the moment, to discuss it more at the moment. We just need to get through the next few weeks. It is not a given though. My reserves are depleted, and I am extremely vulnerable. All the stress is causing a flare up in my neck condition, which does not make any of it easier. My neck has been well managed for a few years. Thank you for caring though.
