I am glad you got things done with your support worker. Hang in there til Friday. Tapering is difficult and having sight issues may make that doubly difficult. Take care of yourself and your fur friend.
I am making lamb soup as I usually do after a roast. Both yummy in my tummy.
I had my support worker this morning for a 3 hour shift. We talk for at least an hour and then do cleaning together. Today, because so much has gone on, we spoke for 2 hours. It has been crucial for me to be able to unpack family and social stuff in a coherent manner. I do believe she is doing her best to understand and be decent regarding my son and I. It is so complex that well meaning people and professionals get confused too often about basic identification of what is going on with whom. So, shifting staff, it doesn’t matter how “ good “ they may be, seems to result in mistakes.
Anyway, we got the serious and sad topics discussed and had a good work and talk vibe, as little ole laydees may be inclined to do. So finally I am a woman with woman type conversations. I was so moved around and isolated as a kid, and there were not many women in STEM back then. So over 40 years bridging all the gaps, incorporating science and life.
