For a while I have tried to find a thread I had started when I joined the forum that could be a "home" thread for me.
Being busy about the forum has been a coping style, where I can acknowledge all my different life experiences that had been silenced. Possibly do some good and prevent things from getting worse. Like the little boy with the finger in the dyke.

Sorry you are a little shaky @Dimity, but glad you are getting by. I wish you were doing more than getting by and hopefully you will get there.
Thanks, the environment is so important and I hope people can rapidly increase their understanding of that, before it's too late. Hopefully we haven't passed that tipping point yet.

That is so very sweet to say @Appleblossom and I feel the same. There are a handful of members that keep me here also (you of course included). Some we don't see often but it is a blessing when they can pop in. We have very real connections and I very much value that. ❤️ Sometimes it does not matter how long the absence of someone, when we reconnect it is like nothing has changed - and that is true friendship.

Pretty distraught. This one is closer to home. Too close. I will not tag anyone. I do not feel safe with current police training. Time to get off the devices and do some music.

Played the organ this morning but then somehow the digital stopped working so I had to switch to the out of tune acoustic. Apparently its done it before. Never mind. I soldier on.
Made a traditional almond Dutch Easter ring. Some for my half Asian nephew. Seems it has taken 30 years for some of the flack to settle after his father, my brother's death. Hoping there is some New Life for my son and him. Next generation.
