Fragile

Fragile

For a while I have tried to find a thread I had started when I joined the forum that could be a "home" thread for me.

Being busy about the forum has been a coping style, where I can acknowledge all my different life experiences that had been silenced. Possibly do some good and prevent things from getting worse. Like the little boy with the finger in the dyke.

Re: Fragile

I just had community mental health worker appointment at home. My old worker is moving on and I met the new one. It is sad but I am alright with it. The new girl has my sister's name which took me back a bit at first, but has very dark hair and seems sensitive and serious so I have hope it will work well.

I have had a lot on with music and family mostly good. I am going away for the weekend for a festival , so will be offline.

My son's gf broke into some self harm 2 nights ago which was triggering for us all, but we coped and got on with things together. Worrying tho.

Thank you so much for asking. @outlander

@Maggie That post about the music is beautiful. As a singer YOU know.

Re: Fragile

Sorry to hear about your worker moving on but it is good that you think this new one will work out @Appleblossom

It does seem that you have had a lot on - it is good to be kept busy - helps to stimulate the mind.

Hope you really enjoy the festival this weekend

Re: Fragile

Thanks @Zoe7

Back and neck are playing up a lot so I also have to go gently, but my son had a good show and I was proud of him. He also seemed to bounce back a bit quicker and was not so drained by the effort. Which could be a good sign ...

I will log off now.

Cheers

Thank you for gentle hugz @outlander

The problem with gf sh is that she is manipulative about it and my son should not have to manage it, nor I, but if it happens in front of our eyes we cannot avoid being affected.

@Maggie

I am back from a wonderful weekend.
