For a while I have tried to find a thread I had started when I joined the forum that could be a "home" thread for me.
Being busy about the forum has been a coping style, where I can acknowledge all my different life experiences that had been silenced. Possibly do some good and prevent things from getting worse. Like the little boy with the finger in the dyke.

Mr Rocker and I went to a pub starting with a. In Adelaide. He offered me a gin and tonic ----- I told you this it ended up being water but I was pretty excited thinking I could start drinking alcohol then. Our old highschool friend was my first experience of talking to a conspiracy theorist.
I dream of leaving my public housing unit which will happen sooner than later

I live in Subiaco
It's very leafy.
Officeworks is just down the street.
The local cafe makes coffee for only $4:50
No water rates or council rates.
No maintenance.
There's a big enclave of alcoholics and iv been ----- how do I get myself in this mess but as I wear overalls most of the time I promised to buy a alcoholic lady who is dating our friend a pair of overalls on second floor.
Are you doing your year 12 ?

Not as deep in the trenches as I was @Appleblossom 🙏, but still running my tail off dealing with aftermaths and backwash. I know I am making headway, but some days it doesn’t feel like it ….. sorta hamster-wheel-ish. Gotta just keep swimming.

Sending you strength and prayers. You deserve to see light at the end of the tunnel and to come out into sunshine and a bit more peace. For you and baby dragons. It is always complex but with a bit of distance between you and ex and more settled circumstances you will be able to flourish again.
Doing a lot better today. Back on the horse.
