Thanks @Faith-and-Hope @outlander I did not have others in my life when I met you both, but now have somewhat of a life, with maybe 3 female friends irl. Having forum connections helped me unload, get ideas and be inspired, and stopped me from goin completely stir crazy...and somehow I am still here. We are still here. I think that is Sacred ..... and @Zoe7 @Shaz51 and others
@Dimity
I have not written much about my really bad times. But I thought I was borderline catatonic on and off for a few years in ear,y 1990s. It was often all I could do was get basics done with kids, dinner on table, and I would just stare at my food in exhaustion, my face almost falling into my plate,but it was much more than physical or emotional exhuastion. There was a lot of manipulation and deaths and grief, and getting up and doing WORK. All sorts of work. It was pretty bad. Not easy for my kids to witness either. I can joke or minimise it, but the situation with my son would not have evolved as it has, if it had not been severe. I always tried to get 'professional' "help" all throughout those periods. It is what it is. My best shot. Yeah, it feels like courage, and fear and trembling ... Coming to terms with what it is to be alive and female. Thanks friends.
