For a while I have tried to find a thread I had started when I joined the forum that could be a "home" thread for me.
Being busy about the forum has been a coping style, where I can acknowledge all my different life experiences that had been silenced. Possibly do some good and prevent things from getting worse. Like the little boy with the finger in the dyke.

@Anastasia Oh dear. Thats a lot of medical appointments for all. Hope the time in hospital helps your boy and gives you respite and time for your parents who will need some support in different ways.Take Good Care of you in a wholistic way as well.
We had a home visit for son, but he is not happy and in his room. Its going to be a long few months as he comes to terms with the long term impact of his spontaneity during mania.

Where are the boundaries of dissociation when we lose track of feelings.
What are realistic levels of 'conrfonting situations' to deal with ...
