Fragile

Fragile

For a while I have tried to find a thread I had started when I joined the forum that could be a "home" thread for me.

Being busy about the forum has been a coping style, where I can acknowledge all my different life experiences that had been silenced. Possibly do some good and prevent things from getting worse. Like the little boy with the finger in the dyke.

Re: Fragile

Thanks @Eve7

It means something you saw, and posted on this thread. Feeling so isolated, especially from women.

Just playing some blues on piano before I head off to 2 medical appointments for the day. Trying to transmute the feelings in productive creative way rather than indulge. I really cant do that. I can hold things together for a long time under a lot of pressure, but not all the time.

Apple.

Re: Fragile

I am sorry you are feeling this way today @Appleblossom

I am glad you can sit at your piano and play and acknowledge the therapeutic benefit in being creative today.

Sometimes I treat the computer keyboard as if it were a piano and play a concerto at work.

You are in my thoughts today 💜🌸💜

Re: Fragile

Hi @Appleblossom you are an important person in my life, even though I take long breaks from this SANE meeting place. We have travelled side by side as women for years. It's wonderful to have this connection with you that feels like it's always there even after time away.

So agree about what seems to be the over-emphasis in government policies of it being an individual illness when people are suffering mentally, emotionally, functionally. Was just talking today with a new psychologist about how when a person is in a precarious situation with housing, for example, no amount of therapy is going to fix that primary problem.

I understand your feeling too broken for this world. I love blues music. So sorry your day was so low. May the new day bring much better feelings to you, my friend.

My thoughts and good wishes are with you @Appleblossom

Some days are difficult and others somehow lift our hearts, these are things you already know, so please forgive me for repeating them in my attempt to lift your spirit.

Be as kind as you can to yourself won't you.

Thanks for posting and and trying @Last-Lament

My son finally walked in door 5 mins ago. Relief!

I am still settling from the palpitations of worry when I realised he was out an hour longer than planned. I will not tell of the fearful images I saw in my mind's eye, as I dont want to traumatise anyone.

Lets just say I really appreciate its timeliness.
