Making order out of chaos

Making order out of chaos

hey forum

I think this a thread that I want to make because it is inspired by a book I'm reading at the moment

I think there is a lot of chaos in our lives due to mental illness so I think making a forum on things that work for us would be a good idea

I will start with an example from self care:

When I feel overwhelmed and worried and concerned about myself and my life I always must remember that I am better than where I ever was about 7 months ago

@MDT

I just finished reading what you wrote for the topic, & your knowledge, & opinions. I actually totally 100% agree with you. I believe its very positive to be able to point these things out to ones self, even if its only on paper, in a Journa,l or scribbled on pieces of paper daily, if needed to.

I have sabitaged my own, physical, &/or MH, many times by putting , people, animals, house work, shopping, plus much more, or even preparing complicated meals first, before doing the right things for myself, then totally draining myself, mentally, &/or physically, at that time. When I could have let all those things go in an order of, my own needs first, so then I can have my equallibrium, & be able to function better, to maybe do what ever in the future, without me getting sick when, or after, I do it..... Does that make sense, I hope so?..... I know what I mean, anyway, 😉 !!!!!

Love & hugs!

Bella xo 🙂

Re: Making order out of chaos

hello @MDT

I love your thinking...that last writing of where your thoughts are at aligns with my thinking so well...

I agree that within the style of all of the philosophies and range of therapies available...there will not be one size fits all...adapting to different therapies as self discovery continues...

I also relate to your ongoing checking in with your own strategies and coping mechanisms...

we are such complex beings....our minds truly are beautiful ...to be able to feel this momentarily is such a spiritual feeling when having been weighed down with mind struggles....( was using the term mental unwellness...at this moment and time...mind struggles fits better for me...yourself of course having your own form of reference)..

speaking of beautiful minds is important to me as I am looking at myself past my mind struggles...everchanging life circumstances....learning about me...

I look forward to reading more from you

I will add a heart....this is my way of saying that my response comes from my heart ...

Re: Making order out of chaos

No worries @Former-Member at all. Thanks for reading it and also sharing your experiences too. Equilibrium is essential for MH

Yeah they are @outlander because I think this is all we can tell ourselves at times. Moments where nothing else does the job.

No worries @Teej nice to 'see' you. Good quote too. That reminded me of a great old poem I read once called Salutation to the Dawn. Have a google of that. Very similar sentiment to your quote there which I shall take as well.

Not too bad thanks @Jojo2 how are you?

@Sophia1 yeh I think we are so complex it's amazing.

All g @outlander
