BabyDragon's Den

Hello, @Bunniekins, @Former-Member, @Snowie, @Former-Member, @Former-Member, @Faith-and-Hope, @Zoe7, @Former-Member, @OhanaSystem, @Jojo2, @Former-Member, @soul, @Appleblossom, @Shaz51, @outlander, @Former-Member, @Mazarita, @eth, @CheerBear, @Adge, @MDT, @Sophia1, @Silenus, @eudemonism, @TAB, @KobeCat and anyone else who pops by.

This is my special space and for now i will only talk here while i make myself feel safe.

For those tagged, it is because I connected with you on my previous profile. It is still going through the phase of being permenantly deactivated.

If you realise who I am or even if you dont, please do not mention my previous name for the sake of my sense of safety.

I am not up to talking about the specifics of my reason for changing but the basics are I felt I was in danger.

Anyway I will be sticking to just this thread till I feel okay to re-engage in others.

Re: BabyDragon's Den

Yes @Zoe7 I find very difficult to explain to people who don't understand especially those who tell me you can't feel something physically if it isn't happening. They don't seem to get how I can physically feel something that is not happening in that moment. But being in flashback is like physically being there again. It becomes difficult to handle day to day life of raising a child and dealing with my current mental health state

Re: BabyDragon's Den

I totally get what you are talking about @Former-Member You can't function at all when that is constantly happening and it must be so hard for you to do anything from day to day when that is happening. I only have those type of flashbacks now (fingers crossed) at night - that s by far my hardest part of the day still - they are getting less and less but still hit me like a freight train when they do and I find it hard to do anything for days afterwards. I could not imagine what it is like for your having to deal with a relationship and a child as well - and also your alters - not a nice place to be in Hon. ...but keep talking it out here if it helps - I am more than happy to be here with you @Former-Member

Re: BabyDragon's Den

Thanks @Zoe7, not really sure how to talk it out so I feel okay though

Re: BabyDragon's Den

I think you have already done really well with what you have written @Former-Member I know how you are feeling and why and that is not always easy to do. Just know I get it and understand those feeling - wish neither of us had to know them but there is some comfort in also knowing that someone else gets it.

What else have you been up to today?

Re: BabyDragon's Den

I've been cleaning today not that I've had the motivation for it but it occupies my time instead of being destructive like I was yesterday and and the few days before.

Plus trying to get rid of the mice not sure where they came from but determined to get rid of them

Re: BabyDragon's Den

Glad you have occupied your time a bit today @Former-Member and not been self-destructive. I managed to get the washing pegged out - forgot to do it this morning so it will be out overnight I went into work this morning to take my certificates in and then went to the pool. It was nice in the pool today - all the usual faces that I am beginning to get used to - a nice group of people who always have a smile despite them being there for rehab.

I hope you can sort out your mouse problem - I don't mind mice but not in the house - Cat would soon fix that problem though

Re: BabyDragon's Den

No cat for this house @Zoe7 affects my asthma

Re: BabyDragon's Den

That is no good @Former-Member you don't need another issue to add to what you are already feeling. I remember my first cat caught a mouse at my parents place - she was only there for 2 days and the cats that lived there couldn't catch it - I did laugh that my cat was the best mouse catcher. I am glad I wasn't there at the time though because I would have cried at the poor little mouse being caught! So probably best not to tell me about how you are going to catch your mice - I am too soft when it comes to those kind of things.

Re: BabyDragon's Den

So am I @Zoe7 we have one of those cage things that lets them in but then they can't get out then my partner does the rest

Re: BabyDragon's Den

...and by the rest I am going to presume that is to re-home them because that is what I can cope with @Former-Member
