BabyDragon's Den

Hello, @Bunniekins, @Former-Member, @Snowie, @Former-Member, @Former-Member, @Faith-and-Hope, @Zoe7, @Former-Member, @OhanaSystem, @Jojo2, @Former-Member, @soul, @Appleblossom, @Shaz51, @outlander, @Former-Member, @Mazarita, @eth, @CheerBear, @Adge, @MDT, @Sophia1, @Silenus, @eudemonism, @TAB, @KobeCat and anyone else who pops by.

This is my special space and for now i will only talk here while i make myself feel safe.

For those tagged, it is because I connected with you on my previous profile. It is still going through the phase of being permenantly deactivated.

If you realise who I am or even if you dont, please do not mention my previous name for the sake of my sense of safety.

I am not up to talking about the specifics of my reason for changing but the basics are I felt I was in danger.

Anyway I will be sticking to just this thread till I feel okay to re-engage in others.

Re: BabyDragon's Den

Yeah it has been really tough on him @Zoe7, and I feel bad because I haven't been able to go visit them.

My son is 5 almost 6 and no it not out of the blue just gradually getting worse and it has been both at school and home

Re: BabyDragon's Den

Do you have things in place at home to give him timeout when he misbehaves? Have you talked to his teacher about what is going on - sometimes when you get your heads together you can work out why he is doing what he is doing @Former-Member - just thinking on the run here a bit. I am more used to dealing with older kids but the basic premise is often the same - there is something happening for them that they can't deal with because they do not have the skills to yet and so they act out. Have you sat him down and asked him what is wrong - sometimes the simple things like that conversation are just what is needed.

Re: BabyDragon's Den

Yes @Zoe7 he has a time out corner.

And I have talked to his teacher and we have made some changes waiting to see if there is change in behaviour at school. When I ask him why he is misbehaving he says he doesn't know

Re: BabyDragon's Den

You have done everything right @Former-Member so I suppose it is just a matter of wait and see for now. Sometimes kids grow out of this kind of behaviour - sometimes they are just tired and instead of doing things that are seen as 'good' behaviours it is easier to misbehave - hopefully it will right itself in time.

How is everyone?

@MDT, I have been up and down lately lots going on and just when I think I get a handle on it I get tossed a curve ball.

@Zoe7, thankyou for chatting with me the other night I decided that I could put aside the past to be there for my mum and went and saw her today

Re: BabyDragon's Den

wow @Former-Member that is a very brave move on your behalf - way to go Hon.

How did the visit go?

Re: BabyDragon's Den

It went okay my mum is handling it pretty well considering.

He is like a child again and his whole left side is paralysed. He has to be fed and told to sleep and stuff like that

Re: BabyDragon's Den

That is awful @Former-Member and must be really hard on your mum. So pleased you went to see her though and even more pleased that it went ok for you
