Re: Finding motivation again

Dear @Shaz51

Us girls and maybe a few cool men usually catch up on Night shift most nights.....

Shaz51, Im sorry that he wont go but you need to go to get yourself strong. I never ever ever realised that my time with my 2 sons would have been cut down to half stress if not more......I seeked support......I had no idea. My youngest son had cancer for years and not once did I expect support ffrom anyone and didnt get it.

lol @Shaz51

If you find the answer conundrum I will be pleased to hear it
I could use a big injection of motivation for myself at the moment

Re: Finding motivation again

Intentional effort and the odd rocket type countdown 5,4,3,2,1 and go are what keep me moving @Shaz51 @Determined

Comes down to what is important and perceived benefit. I have found nearly losing the one I love makes other things meaningless. The belief there is life in spite of mental illness changed things for me.

Re: Finding motivation again

Intentional effort is what gets me out of bed in the morning @Former-Member.

My main frustration at the moment is how effective I am in doing what needs to be done. Looking forward to the break starting at the end of this week but also concerned that I am going to fall apart when I dont have anything structured to do.

@Determined

Making a schedule might be the way to go Bro - don't forget boat time in there.

Seriously though, if this as an issue, do make a plan. Perhaps try and include a lunch date or two before school finishes. Your darling might have some suggestions.

In the holidays, would the boys do a job on s specific morning to have a reward outing that afternoon - even if it is the park and an icecream?
