My journey

My journey

@Former-Member It's pretty hard when I do eventually open up
I remember what happened when I did prior then too a longgggg time ago. I was attacked!!! I am attacking everyone
Hence my song the other day on a music thread.

I don't expect responses and I don't feel left left out I have made it this far on my own and hid what i have been through repetively at times. It does not matter what I do when I don't talk about it I am doing something wrong when I do talk about it I am doing something wrong again

Re: My journey

Keep fighting @Former-Member and try not to let it get you down. You have been doing so well but I know how hard it is at times not to let things get to us.

Hi @Former-Member

Glad you are sticking around.

My feelings about posting on the forum have gone up and down and round about.

Its been slowly over time, that I have really felt the support. In the meantime, I blunder around and hope I dont tread on toes.

Hi @Appleblossom Not many people like hearing problems in rl that’s why it’s indecisive with me and does come down to trust as well with me also. I opened up a fair bit prior and always remember what happened. They probably didn’t understand what was going on with me.

I have to start work soon sort of not really motivated the smorning but going I actually ate breakfast for once lol

Re: My journey

Back from big morning in town. Glad you got brekkie @Former-Member Its best not to work on an empty stomach. I have little habits that keep me eating healthy. Grab an apple and put it in bag all the time etc ..Otherwise I forget or over do it.

I am learning a new behaviour. If I have opened up and they prove not up to real friendship, I am trying to put dampers on contact with that person. I used to get into bad situations as I could not seem to judge a person as a threat and move away.

Hi @Former-Member How was your day at work? I had a sleep this afternoon - didn't have such a good night so a catch up after DBT was necessary.

Re: My journey

You do what you believe is best. Atm I am trying to copy @Bunniekins and learn to say No or contradict people more often. I had no idea I was so compliant. I did not think I was a scaredy cat and too terrified to say no ... but I bend over backwards to say yes.

They say its never to late to learn. But its hard.

Today when ex husband had to have last word which I might normally agree with .. I backed away. Was polite but not agreeable. Improvement. SIck of being everybody's bunny.

But you might be different. Dunno. Hands up in air,
