Yes please try these patella straps. here is the link to them on ebay, please look at them, mum has the same problem with her patella going out from under her, she says they are fantastic.

Hi @hiddenite,
It sounds like your busy week has taken a toll on you! I hope you you be able to get a good nights sleep in tonight!
I think @Jacques makes a good point about going to your doctor about your concerns regarding your medication and wanting to stop taking it. Im sure I dont need to tell you this as you probably already know, but when you come off your medication your symptoms often get worse and it sounds as though you are already having a tough time. All of us on the forums want you to do well and if you want to come off your medication, then that is a decision that will be respected, however you may want to consider doing it with the supervision of your doctor just to ensure your wellbeing and safety.
I hope your keeping warm..it sound quiet cold there!

OK Karen,
Thank you for at least telling someone, but i don't agree with no improvement, i remember when we first met, you where a mess, you have come so far, i know things are still very tough.
You do have a point though, with the MHU, and i know some medications can make things worse, mum says my SI is so bad now since i started on medication.

Yes i do understand Karen, i remember when we first met, their is no way you would have bee nable to buy a house and deal with men, rmemeber when your truck was run into, you struggled just to go to a smash repair, it took you weeks to get the courage to get a quote.
It is your choice Karen, and i will support you no matter what, i just don't want to lose you, you are too special to me.
OMG Karen that is terrible, i can't believe he could treat you in such a way, i so wish i could be their to hug you, show you kindness and caring you so deserve, i just hope you can feel some of the friendship we have throug hthis forum, i know sometimes it feel impersonal, because we are not face to face, but you deserve so much kindness, you are such a wonderful woman Karen, you deserved so much better from people around you.
