Re: catching up

Wow anything with a motor hey, what is your favourite car of all time? Favourite car colour?

Mine would have to be the Porsche 911. they have lasted so long through history for a reason, my next door neighbour has one and it is beautiful.

Colour, well i am into the bright sports car colours, mainly Yellow, it seems to really stand out.

Wow Karen, a writer, do you get free mags 😄 oh well if you don't, what do you like about the 4X4's? i have never been into 4x4 they are to big and slow, no offence 😮

i was going to try to save up for a Toyota Rav 4 for mu, she has trouble getting into cars now, and the small SUV's she can just slide into without trouble. but they are way out of my price range.

Well i hope you are well this afternoon, missing you my angel, hope we can talk soon.

Big cuddly Hugs

Jacques

Re: catching up

Hi jacques I loved your big cuddly hug thank you.

my favorite car is a brock vk groupA group 3 commodore in formula blue. They are the ultimate racing car.
I also got to meet Peter Brock on a number of
occasions I have alot of things books photo and

clock all personally signed by him. The items are
worth quite a bit now that he has passed away.

Ive done my hotted up sports car thing then got into restoring 4x4.
My 4x4 has a 2inch lift mud tyres bull bar spot lights rear wheel carrier long range fuel tank and snorkel. Its worth alot of money and the modifications have made it a very fast car.

hope you enjoy dinner

Oh my goodness Karen, talk about expensive taste, wow walking haw 5.7L V8 if I am right, wow a true Aussie girl 😄

Wow you met him, I didn't too:) when I was living in QLD in 1990, it was such a shock when he died I tanga Tasmania.

Wow Karen, I take it it is a land cruiser wow sounds like you have a great car, my Camry feels really unsafe, the brakes are so spongy and it seems to have surges, I think it either has dirty injectors or the ECU has programming problems.

You sound like you love your 4x4, I bet you take good care of care of her.

Gosh Karen you are an amazing woman, like no woman I have ever met, girls around here can't even change a tire, well that goes for most blokes here too 😄

Take care my angel.

Re: catching up

Thanks jacques cars are a passion of mine. Restoring cars is something I do very well . I enjoy looking after them as well.

One day I might get a project to work on. Maybe a mini cooper s or a 1275 LS both good cars.

Re: catching up

Oh my gosh Karen, my uncle owns mums learners car her name is Amy, she is a 1968 mini Cooper, still in original condition, full of spider webs inside but always garaged at the farm, you would love it, he is thinking of doing it up.

Gosh you have exquisite taste, I lllooovvveee mini's, don't go much on the new ones, but the old ones are awesome

Re: catching up

My first car was a 1978 . Ls 1275 mini the first model with front disc brakes. I fully restored it. It was better than brand new. My husband had a fully restored 1969 COOPER S. It was immaculate.
We were members of the mini club and won awards for our cars.

im with you we looked into getting a brand new mini but they were awful to drive and had no personality.

Great minds think alike.

Re: catching up

How cute Karen, i can just imagine you behind the wheel, you simply have to do another Mini Karen, it would give you a hobby and something to be proud of again. Do you have any pictures of your mini?

Oh yes, i bet, they even look ugly, the silly plastic all over it, it is an insult to the mini heritage. gosh i wish you could do up Amy, it is cream with chrome trim and black leather interior. my uncle was going to get rid of it to the tip, but he just could not let it go.

Thow power of the mini 😄

Hey i tell you what, i have a great business venture you would love, an all woman car repair shop, so many women are taken advantage of by mechanics these days, you would have a lot of clients and a thriving business. you love cars which is a bonus. you could even do it from home, a win win 🙂

Re: catching up

All my photos are packed. Mini is worth money in any condition. Please don't let it go to the tip they are becoming so rare.

ok please don't laugh ok only a little. My mini I had to screw pieces of timber to the clutch and break pedals because I couldn't reach them. Im that short ok you can laugh now.
