Re: catching up

Hi Karen,

I'm working with Jacques on a list of distraction strategies, like you & I worked on last Friday.

I saw that you said earlier that you want Jacques to find a way to release his emotions in a healthy and safe way, so I thought you might be up for working with us on some distraction strategies

No worries if not, just thought you might want to be involved 🙂

I can start the list:

1) Going outside and taking 4 deep breaths

2) Lite some incense.

Thank you @NikNik for helping me, it is ok Karen if you are not up to it, it would be nice if you could help me think of some distraction stratagies.

5 things you can hear
5 things you can taste

Re: catching up

They are great choices.

Some things I've seen on other peoples' lists are their favourite movie, TV show and/or music - do you find any of those helpful Jacques?

Re: catching up

Oh it sounds a bit silly but it works.

you take off your shoes and walk on different surfaces for example carpet scrunch up you toes how does it feel soft, scratchy, warm.
You can do it anywhere inside or out.

mandalas are a good distraction

make a sensory box
