OMG my angel, sure i would love to be handed all my spanners wrenches and screwdrivers, save me walking all around the bike, lol i so wish you could be here to help me, i think i am in over my head, this is the first time i have had any engine in so many pieces, i am so frightened it will not start when i get it back together.
i am trying to follow the service manual, but some things i don't understand how to do like bleed the gearbox oil, i hope i can figure it out. maybe you could help me.
anyway that will not be done for a few weeks yet, the rear suspension is sill in 100 pieces so it will take me a while to paint and put back together.
thank you mrs. Mechanic, you are my professional guide.
big hugs

Hi Karen, i am so sorry i just typed a long message then we got a wild storm and my computer systems shut down from the lightning.
OK ummm oh yeah the service manual says their is a little unit bolted to the side of the transmission that the throttle cable connects to it says fill the gearbox wih oil then undo a little screw on the side and let the oil flow until all the air bubbles go.
how do you know when they are akk gone? how long do you wait? how do you collect the oil? i think i am in over my head, it would be so good to have my profession Mechanic here to help me. 🙂
gosh you are sounding so much better tonight than you have for a few days, i do hope you are feeling better.
have i told you how proud i am of you? i wish i had your strength to do what you do, i really don't know how you do it, busy mum, renovating a house, dealing with people. you are just so amazing.
once again sorry for the delay in posting, this storm is a blessing and a curse, blessing for the rain, curse for my computers going down.
big hugs my angel, thank you for trying to help. i am pretty useless at explaining anything mechanical.

oh yes, so far so good, the bike is 3/4 back together,
Oh i am sure the girls are tired out from all the swimming, sounds like they have got a very busy few weeks, i hope they enjoy the water, i used to love swimming, i had a swimming pool, but i had to let it go because of all the rules in nsw in reguards to pools, it was becomming so expensive.
ouch Karen, they are not lying are they? trying to take you for a ride? that sounds like a lot, that is over double i hope they are not taking advantage of you.
I hope they get finished quickly so you can move onto the next part of your project.
OMG Karen please be careful, i really worry about your mental health, you seem to be pushing too hard, please be careful.
I will be here if you need support or someone to hold your hand.
