My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

Sorry was just putting the kids to bed.

@Sans911you have had such a busy week. You were very brave to get on a crowded train, not sure if I would have been able to so well done on that, and some people are just ........

Some people are plain cruel and it is here loss. You are such a kind, caring soul and if she couldn't see that then that is her fault and not yours.

I am ok now, just relaxing on the couch. Hubby is ok. Talked about him going to talk to someone and he said he is ok for now. At least he knows the option is there. I see the pdoc on Wed again and will decide then if another hospital visit is needed. I spoke to someone today on SCBS and they were really nice. I know it is hit and miss on there so was glad I got someone who could validate my thoughts and feelings.

@outlanderno sport today which was good. Ignore your old boss and better yet your mum!

Re: My special place

@outlanderglad it is sorted out now.

Perhaps ring the doctors in the morning and they will be able to tell you the time.

Not any plans for tomorrow at this stage. I didn't get the whole house cleaned today so might try and do a bit more tomorrow.

Besides the GP, you got any plans?

@Sans911what are you up to tomorrow?

Re: My special place

I had no idea the football was on @Snowie as I have very little interest in sport, I no longer watch TV and barely listen to the radio, so I never really know except when my foster sister tells me as she is a follower. So I was faced with getting on the train or finding a bus going to the city when I longer knew the area very well. Amazingly, I grew up in this suburb, but it has changed almost recognition. It wasn't far to the city and I had a good book, so that is my distraction. Travelling by public transport in London requires you to have nerves of steel, and be bolshy and intolerant to others at all times. There is little repect or courtesy given the melting pot of cultures that often clash. It is certainly not a gentrified quaint English city. I have had my toes trodden on and been pushed out of the way by tiny, silver-haired pensioners and pram-pushing mamas!

Glad to hear things have calmed ever so little. And yay for getting validated by a nice helper.

Unfortunatey, I have lost 2 very close friends in 3 years. It is my loss I feel very keenly, as I find I can talk to most people, but making and keeping friends is a challenge. I am very loyal to my friends, but I possibly test their trust and loyalty and ultimately push them away.

Re: My special place

@Sans911well I guess if you can survive London public transport than Perth should be easier!! Glad you had a book for distraction.

I have lost a few friends along the way and think that they find it difficult to talk to me. Not that they were mean, they just drifted away. However that might be my fault as I seem to push people away too.

I think with MI it is hard sometimes for people to relate to us or know what to say.
