Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

shes having 2 parties @Snowie
one for family at the park and one for her friends at home. we always have to have a family one otherwise everyone gets offended (and cause its milestone will do it anyway) but her main birthday where she wants the nice cake and decorations etc is at home so im happy to help them get some nice balloons and different things rather then the average ones. the park will have the regular munchies, balloons etc but the home one will be more special

Is D at a milestone age this yr as well?

Re: My special place

I find it harder to buy for them as they get older @outlander It is good she gave you suggestions, D does too, but I still like giving them some surprises.

It must be a big milestone hun for 2 parties. D's isn't a miletsone. She wants some friends around for a sleepover but will just have to wait and see, by that stage we might be in lockdown, so will just try to plan it as it gets closer.

Take your time sweetheart, thanks for the chat. Should go and do some cleaning anyway.

Hi @outlander @Snowie @NatureLover ..... just popping in and out of the forums this morning. I am supposed to be in class, but I am uncomfortable with a new tutor we have and just got told off .... I feel unfairly ..... so I am sulking here for a few minutes ..... lol.

Thinking of you @Snowie, and I am glad to see you distracting here this morning 💜

Re: My special place

hey @Snowie im so sorry i dropped out so quickly and took longer. i ended up a the shops and then the locksmith to fix mums car called (he wasnt suppose to come this morning) to see if he could come now instead to give a quote on it.

its harder when they get older unles its a milestone cause usually by then they have everything. at least when its a milestone you cna fine themed gifts like 16th necklaces or 18th wine glasses that sort of thing.
i hope she will get to have her sleepover. covid has really ruined so many things this yr hey. many bussinesses are doing deliveries now though so if your in lockdown perhaps you could get some special balloons or a gift hamper delvier on the day for her to make it abit special. we were in lockdown for mums birthday so i sent some flowers and balloons and a special gift hamper as well (which included like a platter so they could nibble on it through the day) i could go see her cause id have the kids as an excuse but i thought id make it abit special since we couldnt go out for dinner or anything.

Re: My special place

I think it's a personality clash @outlander. The online platform is a bit hard to manage, and there was a fault with it this morning that had me, and another student, locked out of the room she was in. I think she didn't believe me when I emailed someone else in the class and found out what was happening, logged out, then logged in again.

There is a bit of a delay on the audio, so she told me off for speaking over her, after she had already cut me off in conversation.
