I have no problem with you mentioning your SH on here. I feel privledged that you trust me enough to talk to me about it.

I find it is always easier connecting with people who are going through the same types of things that I am going through. To find someone else that struggles with SH and going through ECT is comforting.

Besides my immediate family and members on here, I havent really told anyone that I am doing ECT. To explain ECT means I would have to explain my depression, which is a conversation I would rather not have. On this forum, I find people just 'get it' without having to explain why I am the way I am.

Thank you so much. I did get an email about that post and, even though I understand the guidelines, I was really upset because I didn’t want to trigger you or anyone else.

It really has helped me today to open up with you and @Bunniekins as I just felt so accepted and like you say without having to explain my whole story..

I haven’t told anyone anything apart from people on this forum and my pdoc.

When my son came with my clothes he just looked so sad and I know it’s because of where I am.

I just want to thank you so much and say I’m here for you too.

My husband knows but my children are too young to know the full story. In time I will tell them but they should not have to deal with my issues at such a young age. I guess I am trying to protect them from my past too.

I'm glad you feel accepted here. It is a great platform for us on our good and bad days.

Never be afraid of telling me what you want (within guidelines of course), or of triggering me. I would tell you if you did, and so far you haven't in the slightest.
