Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

that is really tough @Snowie
its not fair that she is ranting at you rather then listening and at least trying to accept what you've told her.
im sorry you've SH, do you need any help for it?

Re: My special place

I won't repeat what she said on here @outlander there is no use.

But it hurt me a lot. Especially when she thinks her gp knows better then my pdoc.

Also when she had a dig about me about my kids.

I keep SH today in different ways.

Re: My special place

that's awful @Snowie that would've been really hard to sit through. you are doing the very best for yourself, H and your kids, all of us here can see that.

Re: My special place

I wish I had never told her @outlander

I should have just stayed quiet, it has made everything so much worse.

I don't want to feel anymore.

Re: My special place

I know @Snowie its not up to you as to how she reacts though and I can only hope that things will settle and she will stop be awful to you.

do you maybe want to talk about something else as a distraction? im happy to do whatever is most helpful for you

Re: My special place

Distraction would be good @outlander

We have had news today that all schools are closing on Tuesday so will have the kids home from school longer then expected. Also closing down all non-essential things.

Got a call today to say that my psych can't see me tomorrow, they are closing down for now. I find that really difficult as I really needed to talk to her about all of this.

I am meant to see my pdoc on Tuesday and I don't know as yet what will happen with that appointment.

I don't know how I will cope if my normal supports are not around, especially at the moment. I know it's not their fault but it is really hard on our mental health.

Rant over!

Re: My special place

it really will be tough @Snowie
both mum and her partner have essential jobs so they will still need to be working during all of this meaning its going to be really hectic here on my end. so far the 3 places my appointments are are still open but im not sure if im going to be able to go to them. one of them I probably could cause id only be gone for about 45 minutes but the rest are unpredictable and wouldn't leave the kids at home alone for much longer then an hour cause they fight more then most I think.
im sorry your psych is cancelled, im actually surprised they didn't arrange phone call appointments instead with payments able to be made over the phone or sent through as an invoice.

Re: My special place

No doubt you will have the kids more @outlander and I am sure it will be more hetic for you.

You will also have your pop to care for too.

I have to go post office and supermarket tomorrow morning before things start to close down on Tuesday. They said essential things will still be open so at least the supermarket and chemist will be open.

I hope I can see my pdoc on Tuesday, I need some scripts from him.

Re: My special place

yes thankfully chemists and some shops will still be open @Snowie but I think many people will continue to panic buy.
mums suggested that every time I go to the shops just to grab an extra packet of something I would need and just put it aside (not crazy bulk buy) but just a few items esp since pops so fussy.
thankfully most of the things can be done online like bill paying etc.

I hope that youll be able to at least see your pdoc, and maybe make arrangments to have your scripts automatically sent to your pharmacy until this crisis is over..

Re: My special place

I've been grabbing a few things here and there too @outlander

Haven't gone overboard like some but just a few extra supplies.

Yes, at least we won't have to stop paying bills!!!

Am hoping I can still see my pdoc. I think doctors will have to stay open so hoping he does too.
