Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

haha @Zoe7, 10 minute timeout, he probably doesn't even realise!!

It is overcast here but not raining. It tried to rain before but we only had a few drops of rain. Has been nice here today, not too hot, not too cold.

Re: My special place

I'm sure he doesn't realise @Snowie - but dog time-outs are 7 times longer than human time-outs lol

The rain cam late yesterday here but it has still been relatively warm. We are supposed to have around 4 or 5 days now of fine weather so more gardening will definitely be done. It would be really great if I could start the veggie patch too but that needs a lot of work - edging done, lots of weed removal, digging and them planting. Would love to get it done though!

I forgot to tell you - my GP went to South Africa for a conference and a holiday and bought me back a little giraffe - it is really cute - I have put it on my shelf with some of my other giraffes. I was really surprised but thought it was lovely of her to think of me while she was away (she knows I love giraffes).

Re: My special place

@Zoe7I bet he doesn't realise at all!!

Hopefully you get some more nice days to work in the garden

That is so nice of your gp to bring you back a giraffe. Not many gp's would do that for their patients, mine certainly wouldn't. So glad you have a close realtionship with her

Re: My special place

Of course he doesn't realise @Snowie his time is well and truly up and he is back snuggled next to me - nearly time for his and Cat's night biscuits lol

I thought it was super nice of her and the giraffe is so gorgeous.

I better feed Cat before she cries the house down - they are both so spoilt. No surprise there hey!

Then I will settle in and wait for the SBS show to come on - should be interesting...

Re: My special place

They are both spoilt @Zoe7 but that is ok, they are worth spoiling.

Just watching BBT before the sbs show

Izzy is making it hard to type, has her head on my laptop!

Re: My special place

They are so worth spoiling - they are my babies @Snowie

Izzy is adorable too - it is so wonderful that you have her to get cuddles. I know how much she has helped you too and that is wonderful to have in your life. I understand you found where the escape artist has been getting out and fixed the fence - that is great - makes it so much safer for you. I know you would be the same as me if anything happened to her so it is good that the yard is secure for her now.

I watched the first episode of the last series last night - wasn't one of the best I thought - I think it is better when they are all together so hope next week that happens.

Re: My special place

They are worth spoiling @Zoe7, She is outside now barking into the air at something not there!!

I watch the new episode last night too. I agree, it is funnier when they are all together. The young Sheldon has new episodes next week so will watch them too.

Re: My special place

I'll watch Young Sheldon too - I quite like the Dad in that - he has absolutely no idea how to deal with young Sheldon lol

I think I'll grab a drink and get settled in for the SBS show now - sounds like you need to get Izzy inside from her barking at imaginary things - Toby does that too - I swear he sees imaginary birds on the fence outside the loungeroom window @Snowie
