Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Shopping done - in and out very quickly @Snowie. That is the way I like doing my shopping - get what I need and get checked out quickly

Have you had dinner yet?

Re: My special place

The supermarket is close and the traffic was pretty much non-existent on the main road ...and I got a really close park - methinks the travel gods were with me @Snowie. I didn't need much and I know the supermarket pretty well so could go directly to the aisles I needed - and hey presto ...it was all done in no time. I am glad I went tonight though and didn't wait until tomorrow - now I can soend the day at home. The rain is exoected to clear overnight so might be able to get some more gardening done if it is dry enough.

Hehe, the travel gods must have been with you @Zoe7.

I like when you know the supermarket and can go directly to the isles you need and bypass all the other things.

Gardening tomorrow sounds like a nice day. Haven't got many plans on, just have to drop Izzy at the groomers, she is in desperate need of a clipping.

Toby needs a trim too but at the moment I can still see his eyes - it isn't usually until I can't see them that I give him a haircut lol ...poor neglected little puppy dog

How often does Izzy have a trim @Snowie? Toby needs it about once a month but because his hair is long anyway it is often longer. I give him a trim around his eyes when it is needed - usually every couple of weeks.

Re: My special place

@Zoe7she goes and gets a haircut about once every 6 weeks. I am not confident doing it myself so take her somewhere to get it done. I trim around her eyes like you, about every 2 weeks or it gets too long.

Re: My special place

Toby doesn't like getting his eyes trimmed and often thinks it is play time lol - lucky I love the little monster otherwise it would get very frustrating @Snowie He is in my bad books tonight - he wouldn't let me cuddle Cat and kept jumping and making hislittle huffy sounds - so he is on the doona for a while 'thinking about his actions' (it is where he would usually be but I am calling it the time-out doona tonight lol)

Re: My special place

@Zoe7we both know he will be in the bad books for about 5 minutes and then forgiven!!

He does seem to be a bit of the jealous type I could imagine him not letting you cuddle Cat, he would want all the cuddles for himself.

Re: My special place

I'm going to try to make it to at least 10minutes @Snowie He is definitely an attention seeker - will go up to anyone for cuddles. Poor Cat gets left out so much - I try to give her lots of pats and cuddles but the little monster (aka Toby) nearly always starts his little attention-seeking routine - jumping, huffing and puffing and little woofs. He really is a bit of a brat - but your are totally right - I love him and it his time-out won't last long

This is exactly why Cat has her own room

It is still raining here - what is it like in your area?
