My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Hi @Snowie I saw that you had a tough session with your psych Hon - I can imagine that has derailed your day somewhat. Those sessions are hard to deal with but you definitely do not have to do it alone. Here for you also

Did you get a hold of your pdoc this morning?

@Zoe7just spoke to pdoc before. He wants me to go back on the medication (that I was having side effects for) for now. He is going to try and squeeze me in tomorrow to see him but need to wait to see if that is possible.

BBT has helped me get through the afternoon

Although you had side effects on those meds too they seem better than the ones you are presently on @Snowie It is tough when meds have those effects on you - I so very much hope there is something else that you can try that gives you neither the side effects nor the increase in anxiety. We definitely went through a lot before we found ones that work and then it was a matter of tweaking dosages as well. Here riding this wave with you Hon and know how very frustrating and hopeless it can all feel - but also letting you know that you can get through this and lean on us as much as you need

@Zoe7I guess for now it is trial and error. My pdoc seems on the ball and is trying to find the right meds and the right mix of meds. Hopefully it gets sorted sooner rather then later.

I know you understand only too well hon.

Yes I definitely do @Snowie I still feel like I am living in a pharmacy when I look at the meds I am on but the mix and dosages seem to be right now. It will be more telling when I am back at work - more concerned about lethargy than anything but that is bound to happen after being away from work for so long anyway.

I am glad he is trying to fit you in tomorrow - it does sound like he is on the ball with how this is affecting you. We can never tell how we react to a med until we try it but I do hope that it starts to settle down for you very soon - it has been such a tough road for you Hon.
