Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

@Sans911I am hoping it benefits me.

I spoke to my psych today about how to tell the kids so we are going to sit down tonight and speak to them. I know Miss 12 is going to ask a lot of questions but I have to try and be honest with them. of course I am not going to tell them about my traumas, but need to tell them enough that they are comfortable with.

How is Jasper going?

@Snowie Well done Snowie I think you are making the right move here. Private is so much better than public in so many ways and voluntary is a huge plus. Cannot wait to hear about your progress I am sure there will be many more ups than downs. Thank you for keeping the pea in the loop. I am never far away just having difficulty processing it all xx

Re: My special place

@Snowie - Jasper asleep in my arms right now. I'm laying on my bed. I have no energy for anything today. But I desperately need to clean the house today. And trim some more shrubs in the garden as the council is doing a garden waste collection.

Jasper has been an energetic bunny all morning. He's more aware of the other cat and there's been a few bifs, no blood spilt thank goodness. They are slowly accepting each other. My other cat is at the end of the bed right now & and asleep as well.

This will make you have a laugh ... @Snowie@Sans911@Faith-and-Hope@Former-Member@outlander I went to my son's NDIS meeting today with his provider and I thought I should mention that his psychiatrist of 10 years Dr G was retiring from private practice. Well one of the women across the table's mouth hung open She said 'He is too young to retire ... he would only be in his 40s ...' I said ' He would be in his early 50s he looks younger than he is'. Then she proceeded to say she always puts her hand up to take any potential clients that she has to see him because he is so in her words 'so good looking!'.

It is not only me there will be so many disappointed women of various ages across the area ...

Re: My special place

@Sans911well at least they can be in the same room together!

You had such a big day yesterday so no energy today is understandable.

You know its okay not to be okay. Hmmmm, I think you have told me that before!

Re: My special place

Hi @Snowie,

As you have probably gathered, I am a little distracted with my own muddle at the moment. However, I wanted to drop by and say how very pleased I am that you are going into a private hospital. I have only ever experienced the public system, which is far from ideal. Reading the experiences of people here in Forum Land, it is evident to me that people actually get real help in a private hospital and I am really hopeful for you that this will be a positive turning point as you work to unmuddle your muddle. I know it is still super scary, but I am 100% confident that you have totally got this!

Hi @Snowie 🙂

I have to say your avatar makes me smile when I see it, such a cute little face!

I'm thinking of you and wishing you all the best in sharing what's happening with the kids tonight. I'm really pleased to hear you are seeking treatment within a private hopsital setting- I know how tough the process of hopsital has been for you and feel very proud of you to be seeing you take such big steps. Nice one @Snowie 🙂
