My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Spoke to the hospital today. Going in on Friday for at least 2 weeks. Not sure how I feel yet about the whole thing. Have checked out the place on line and it looks ok. Work cover are paying for it so at least that part is covered. They have all different programs in there that I can take part in and also pdoc and psych that I can talk too.

Am still very hesitant but know that if I want to stay alive then I probably need this. Well that is what my pdoc and psych is telling me anyway. I can't do this on my own anymore and have been too close to suicide lately. I need to go in there with an open mind or it won't work.

Can have electronic devices in there so will still be able to talk on here.

I think thats it.

@Snowie- it's natural to be hesitant when going into hospital with MI for the first time. It's private, so you'll have your own room & ensuite. And I'm glad you're going, and I think you'll see the benefits as well.

Did your pdoc give you some advice about what/how to tell your children?
