Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

My D says she doesn't like adulting!!! Too much to think about. She's still at home. I think she'll be at home until at least she's finished uni

That is alot of money saved @tyme we haven't gone down that way yet.

Re: My special place

Hahaha. I'm glad your D knows that adulting is expensive! And she hasn't looked that council rates, insurance bills, etc!

I laugh when I hear young people say they want to move out. I tell them to go ahead lol. And more often than not, they are back in a jiffy. @Snowie

So your son has moved out already???

Re: My special place

No @tyme both kids are still at home.

He only works part time atm. Didn't want to go to uni.

Starting an electrical apprenticeship in about 3 weeks time. Told him to give it at least 6 months to see if he likes it. He is very driven to do it.

D still at uni

Re: My special place

Ahhh @Snowie , so I guess you still have to worry about them. Who cooks?

Re: My special place

I cook mostly @tyme

They can both cook simple meals but I do most of it. I normally always have home made cooked meals in the freezer for when I can't be bothered.

Re: My special place

We always need bigger freezer room because of home cooked meals. Then I don't want a bigger freezer because it means we keep the food for too long!

At least you have meals cooked for them. I never appreciated my parents' cooking..until I moved out of home... now, my parents' food is the BEST food @Snowie !

Re: My special place

I actually love cooking @tyme

It is one of my things I do to help distract myself. It helps take my mind of things and helps keep me from dissociating.

Just means kids and hubby get lots of baked meals/ treats.

Going to head to bed. Thanks for the company tonight. It really is appreciated. I had a few things this afternoon that weren't good, so has helped.

I hope your coming days go well

Thanks 💜💜
