Very hot here too. Have air con on full

Planted some plants the other day so just went and watered them. Hoping that they survive.

Still meant to be above 30 here tomorrow too. Hoping it cools down a bit at least overnight. Not a great sleeper in the heat.

@GezzaP night sweats are gnarly, I get them sometimes. Waking up sodden and shivering is no fun at all!

I've known MIL for over 30 years @Jynx and she has smoked the whole time. She has actually cut back, used to be more.

I'm not too good at keeping plants alive. Haven't the best record. Two of the new one's I planted have replaced some that I've killed 😏Will see how I go with these one's.

@Snowie wow 😮 Weird how some people get sick from it quickly, others slowly, and yet others never get sick at all from it....

Haha yay, we're in the brown-thumbs club! I have exactly one house plant, and I am so surprised it has survived more than a year now!! My succulents all live outside and whilst they 'thrive on neglect', I do need to re-pot them occasionally, actually they could probably use a watering after today's heat!!

My MIL and mother are the same age @Jynx There is 3 days difference.

Whilst my mother can't look after herself because of her dementia, she can walk a couple of km's easily. Then my MIL cannot walk without an aid yet mentally she is switched on.

Such huge differences between them.

I'm certainly in the brown-thumbs club. I don't have any indoor plants.

Did get out early and water my plants again before it heated up.

Been awake since 4. Had a nightmare and couldn't settle again. My head is all over the place.

Missing my psych a great deal. Still 5 weeks until she is back. Not handling the break well.

11 days till my pdoc is back.

My psychiatrist rang Tues and my psychologist yesterday @Snowie . Sorry to hear you had a nightmare and couldn’t get back to sleep. I rarely remember my dreams. Did have a nightmare a couple of months ago - it was in Spanish in which I am about 75 o/o fluent. First time I’ve dreamed in Spanish.

So glad for you that you have that support @GezzaP Hopefully it does help

That's a cool thing to have, being able to speak another language. Do you ever get to practice it with people?
