It sounds like you're reading off my to-do list! So much to do, especially this time of year

What time is H home?

@Ru-bee yoghurt and muesli for lunch, quick and easy

I've also got a few more presents to wrap but that won't take long

H should be home about 4 today. Then he has some time off over the holiday break. Will be nice to have him around.

Sounds nice to have H around over the holidays. My partner only gets the public holidays off which is a bit of a shame but hey, it's better than nothing!

Is H home now? If not it mustn't be long now 🙂

He just got home.

My brain turned to sh*t after lunch. I couldn't do anything except something bad (I'm safe)

Going to try and have a shower and go to bed early after dinner.

Staying up isn't going to help me anyway.

Growing up I learnt early on to hide my feelings/behaviours. To the outside we were the perfect family. My mum made sure that appearances meant everything. We had to act/look a certain way. Behind closed doors it was a different story.

I took mum out again this morning. She was ok today which was good.

I have to go up the street tomorrow morning for a few things, but I have everything else needed for Christmas Day except some rolls which I can't get until Wed.

Just a bit more cleaning to do and then it should all be ready.

I guess we are always working on ourselves. Always a work in progress. Hopefully in time I can accept myself a bit more.

I'm already for tomorrow. All the cleaning is done and prepared as much food as I can. Just the cooking tomorrow. Actually I will be glad when the day is over.
