Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

I can’t use zoom. Technology challenged. Still learning.

Slept 5 1/2 hours so better than previous night. Will try to go back to sleep in a little while. Still hypomanic. Lots of chores to do today and got cleaner coming this afternoon. Going to cook lamb roast this morning. Also going to do a bit of gardening. Hope you’re ok.

Re: My special place

Hey @GezzaP hope you got back to sleep and got your chores done.

@Eve7 I hope the zoom session helped and today is going ok.

Had ECT this morning. Woke up really disorientated which is rare for me. Finally came to it after awhile.

Came home and had a nap. Very unusual for me to sleep during the day too.

Just sitting down enjoying a coffee.

Re: My special place

The zoom meeting was really helpful @Snowie

I’m glad you had a nap after ECT. The anaesthetic can be really tiring.

Do you have much planned for the weekend? I’m going to Sydney tomorrow.

Not much on this weekend. Hoping for a quiet one.

Re: My special place

I got a ten minute nap after lunch @Snowie

Did most of chores except the gardening. Sat and read a gardening magazine instead.

Cleaner is here. Seems good. Having lots of fun cleaning my tiny kitchen. I have a lot of things on benches so it’s a pain to clean. He’s making good progress.
Got to let cat out.

Hope you’re ok after your ECT.

Re: My special place

Sounds like a good day then @GezzaP

Sometimes we just need to sit and relax.

I'm ok, it just makes me tired.

Re: My special place

@Snowie Yes I seem to recall that it makes you tired. I had some memory loss too.

I had a productive day except didn’t garden sat and read a gardening magazine instead. Will garden tomorrow morning after I go for a walk. Then watch women’s footy in the afternoon.

I have some memory loss with it too @GezzaP

At the moment it is only once every 4 weeks. My pdoc wants to increase it but I don't want to.

Sometimes we need that time out just to sit and rest. The garden can always wait.
