Have done presents with the kids. Brings me joy to see the smiles on their faces. Focusing on the little things today.

Just taking a break in between getting things ready.

Soon it will be prn and family!!

Well everyone is gone and the house looks back to normal. Will say it was a successful day. Everyone was mostly nice to each other, only a few spiteful remarks that I heard, might have been a few more. But I guess at least they were civil. Gee I love family sometimes.

My room ended up being an escape quite a few times when I just needed a timeout. There were some tears mixed in too. Not sure if anyone else has this, but there is a certain colour that is a trigger for me. Niece wore that colour today, she was not to know.

Prn helped. Not sure pdoc would be happy about how much I've had but it's done.

So now it is just down time. Just put my pj's on and settling into the couch. Don't think it will be a late night tonight. Exhausted both mentally and physically.

was on my own for much of Christmas Day, but I wrapped myself in a blanket at the beach, under some shady trees, and read a book for a while.

I sorta needed the time out anyway, and then most of the kids came over in the evening for a movie.

Today will be our real Christmas get together when the ones who were absent yesterday return.

I was missed at “the big family gathering” by quite a few of the ex in-laws, apparently, by messages received back through my baby dragons. Guess my shoes haven’t been filled 😏

No doubt you would be very hard to replace hon. Sometimes they don't appreciate what they've got until it is gone.

So I just emailed my psych's office and got a reply back saying they are not open till the 6th Jan.

That means I still don't have any appointments scheduled for the next year. I still don't know when my psych will even be back.

She was going to try and fit me in with another psych whilst she is away but nothing has happened there either. She said she would email me but didn't. It feels like she just doesn't care, so why should I.

I'm stressed as it is, and this just adds to it. I don't want to do it anymore.

Sorry just venting.
