Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

@Snowie @Captain24 sending 💜💜

Do they often ask questions about that sorta stuff Snowie?

Re: My special place

They normally ask if I have any SH or Si thoughts and if I am safe @Jynx

It does depend on the nurse too. Some just say it after they have told me I can go. Feels like they are just going through the motions. Last time I wasn't asked.

Re: My special place

Aye very true @Snowie I would also feel less inclinced to be honest if it felt like the person was literally just there to tick some boxes. And like... maybe that's not the right place for that disclosure in terms of how much of a mental barrier you gotta push through to be able to express it. As in, if it is going to require a lot of mental energy to talk about it, then you might as well ensure it is in a context where the disclosure will be recieved in a compassionate and supportive way. Would that be with your psych for instance?

I’ve been following a long behind the scenes. I have been thinking of you @Eve7

Re: My special place

@Jynx I think it is really just to tick some boxes just in case someone does something after they've left. To not be held responsible. Especially when I don't know the nurse, when they are just rushing around to the 4-5 people to get us discharged so they can go home soon.

I saw my psych today and mentioned a few things but didn't go into detail of what I am thinking. My fault. The guilt I have towards myself prevents me from even being open with someone I trust, but I guess thats a whole other topic.

Just numb myself.

@Eve7 Missing you lots too hon. Very much care about you. But you are doing the right thing, you are putting yourself first. Thats exactly what you should be doing.
