Perhaps you could call the practice and ask if it's possible to email her or if you would rather see her in person you could always as if they have cancellation list you could be put on in case any sooner appointments come up?

I'm sure they have a cancellation list @Ru-bee I'll ring up and ask to go on it.

I shouldn't drive and no one else around. I know I could get a taxi/uber but would rather not.

They would probably just send me home anyway after waiting for hours. Thats what they've done in the past.
